Moving this wee babe of mine into college today!!!
I’m so happy and excited for her.

And I know she’s ready for this adventure.

But boy oh boy will I miss working side by side every day.

I’ll miss her songs as my soundtrack for living.

What a joy it is to raise a person into a grand and marvelous friend. ❤️

This lovely girl is moving in to college Friday.

Don’t mind me.
I’m on the threshold of ALL the life changes.
The holder of their little hands no longer.
The youngest kiddo drove himself to school -because Taylor is now a senior and had senior sunrise with her class to kick off this year.

I dearly love their laughter as my soundtrack.
I am so immensely grateful to drown in laundry one more year.
This final year of double sports in the house.
This is the only year of an even boy/girl split ever.

Now that this is our third high school senior, it is both calmer and more intense.

Because I know she is ready for whatever the next thing is.
But boy oh boy will I miss her story telling. Laughter. Surprise hugs. Exclamations over favorite foods. Blasting k-pop. Teaching me dances.
This girl constantly challenges me in my walk with Christ. She cares deeply for others in a way I hope to achieve one day.

Both of them are on their respective varsity team (Taylor is volleyball and Landon is soccer), and I will cheer and embarrass and celebrate and encourage in all facets of their lives. (Just on the sidelines I’m louder)

I love learning about what they are learning about.
I love being challenged by their questions.
I love these days so very much.

What a gift they are.
Here’s to another year.
