🫏 Such precious moments shared this week at summer camp! It’s been a joy allowing groups of children, who may or may not be a part of our microschool program, to experience the gift of farm life. Our students get to experience these moments on a daily basis … we forget just how magical these moments are for children who may have never built true friendships with God’s creations. No words… no formal introductions … no exchanged hugs or handshakes ~ just true connection. What a gift! 🫏 🙌🏼

🐔 Fresh Pasture-Raised Chicken Coming Mid-August! 🌱

We just added 27 meat birds to the farm and they’re officially starting their 8-week grow-out! These chickens are raised the way nature intended… on pasture, rotationally grazed, with plenty of fresh air, sunshine, and room to roam.

The difference between farm-raised and store-bought chicken is easy to see and taste:
✅ Better flavor and texture
✅ Raised on fresh pasture, not crowded confinement houses
✅ Higher quality nutrition from a natural lifestyle
✅ Humanely raised with care right here on our farm

Our chickens will be ready mid-August and are available for reservation now at $7/lb.

🥚☀️ Farm Camp Fun! ☀️🥚

Today our campers learned how to test egg freshness using the egg float test, then got to work checking our farm-fresh eggs while another group tackled farm chores around the property. Real-life learning is always more fun on the farm!

🐴 Tuesdays are for horses!

Today our campers spent the day at Willow B Farm learning horse care, farm chores, and riding… then they’ll spend the rest of the week at Anchored Oak Farm caring for a huge variety of animals, gardening, creating, exploring, and making summer memories.

This is more than camp ~ it’s the childhood they’ll remember.

Some camp days just stick with you… and today at Willow B Farm was one of them. 🤍

Our campers spent the day learning all about horses - from care and handling to grooming, riding, and the everyday responsibilities that come with farm life. There’s something special about watching children grow in confidence as they connect with these incredible animals and experience life outside the classroom walls.

A huge THANK YOU to the helping hands at Willow B Farm for creating such a meaningful, hands-on experience for our campers. Your patience, knowledge, and love for what you do made the day unforgettable!
