If you are looking for good sushi in Grand Rapids, these are my top 3 picks. Credentials: I’ve eaten a lot of sushi

1. Kawa Sushi GR - IMO by far the best & highest quality sushi you can get in all of West Michigan. The nigiri is 100/10. SO happy to have this kind of sushi in GR.
2. Jake Sushi - Specifically obsessed with the spicy scallop roll, they stuff the roll with scallops. Plus, I am obsessed with their large house salad. The perfect meal.
3. Ginza Sushi & Ramen Bar - Love this restaurant when I want ramen & sushi. Ramen is always good and the sushi always hits the spot, plus they have a good variety of other options. The Hana roll is a fav of ours.

A fun addition to the dining scene in Saugatuck! Such a moody vibe that’s perfect for a date night or girls night out. Asian food is my favorite and was so excited for a new spot along the lakeshore (plus they had otoro on the menu)!!!

Pork dumplings - $14
Crab Rangoon - $14
Dan Dan Noodles - $26
Otoro Nigiri - $22
Salmon Nigiri - $16
Hotate (Scallop) Nigiri - $25
Ceviche Roll - $24

The nigiri was the highlight for us. It was some of the highest quality and freshest we have had anywhere in West Michigan, and the price definitely reflected that! We also loved the Dan Dan Noodles, they look unassuming but had so much flavor and the noodles were perfect.

Obsessed with this place. Everything we had was so good and the atmosphere was so fun! I couldn’t pick a favorite from the tacos we ordered, I would order them all again. Ajs favorite was the Placero taco which had steak, chorizo, and fried potato’s. Plus, the salsas were so flavorful and had good spice. Definitely will be back!
