Converted from the family’s old horse barn, the Bowers Harbor Vineyard tasting room provides a warm and cozy atmosphere to taste some of Michigan’s top rated wines. Bowers Harbor Vineyards offers wine and hard cider samples, wine by the glass, hard cider by the pint, bottles of wine and hard cider to take home with you, and flexible Wine Club memberships! The road along Old Mission Peninsula leads

over rolling orchards and vineyards that are frames to the east and west by the waters of Grand Traverse Bay. Each rise in the road exposes gorgeous panoramic views. Meticulously manicured vineyards and flower gardens will entice your eyes as you enter the estate. 🍷🐾Wine Dog Wednesday🐾🍷

This week we have Stormy!! Stormy is 5 years old. We are wine club members and visit BHV several times a year with Stormy. She loves all the pets and hugs she gets when we visit. Stormy is a 100lb well behaved English Lab. Storm loves to also visit adult senior living monthly and assisted living regularly to share some love too!

🍷🐾Wine Dog Wednesday🐾🍷

This week we have Eden- Bernese Mountain Dog- and Maisy- Springer Spaniel-
Both these girls are pretty lazy. But love going out with their moms as they are super social girls. They love meeting new people and dogs! Our two girls met when we first worked together! They love spending time with each other and going to Bowers!

Eden is a rescue from Planned Pethood in Toledo OH. She now lives on a small farm & tends to her chickens and her other two sisters, Margo, Bernese & Sadie Springer spaniel

Maisy was an originally living in Kalamazoo and moved up here almost two years ago! She loves going places with her mom.

"Here are a couple pictures back from 2020 of our golden retriever Belle’s first trip to Bowers Harbor. It was her first vacation and her trips up to your vineyards were essential in her socialization as a puppy during those times. Belle is now six years old and a very social and happy girl. She is an Ann Arbor pup and makes it back up to your vineyards about once a year but is certainly due for a visit soon! It has become one of her favorite places. She is looking forward to seeing you again!

🐾🍷 WINE DOG WEDNESDAY! 🍷🐾

Meet Reggie, this week's Wednesday Winery Dog. Affectionately known as Lil Reg Reg, he is a twice returned rescue from the Toledo Humane Society. He was adopted in 2015 at a year old; the adorable little mutt with the soulful brown eyes and a painted pony- patterned black and white coat. Full of energy in his younger days, he's mellowed into the lovable food mooch and bite-kiss giver he's become. He loves to chase squirrels, meet up with his girlfriends in the neighborhood and lounge on the deck in the summer. When he's not looking out for loons or garter snakes on the lake with his mom or taking Jeep rides with his dad, he can be seen at some of his parents favorite watering holes in the region. And of course, Bowers Harbor is one of his favorites.
