We had a great time at the Best of Michigan wine dinner in Chicago last night…Old Mission Peninsula wines paired beautifully with the curated steakhouse stylings. Chardonnay! We have gotten so much rain that these vines are growing like crazy. We had a late start this year with the warmth so we are trying to catch up as best we can. As we get into late July and August we have to really thin out to increase airflow as it mitigates mildew and rot. This is a crucial time in the vines.
