It’s mid-August, and in the vineyard that means…véraison! Véraison (or “ripening,” for the non-Francophiles amongst us) is marked by the change in the color of the berries as seen here in our Pinot Noir block. It indicates the start of the viticultural cannonball run towards harvest and the start of a brand new vintage. Bring it on!

We’re thrilled and honored to be participating in tonight’s James Beard Foundation dinner at the Open Space, one of the many incredible events that comprises this year’s Traverse City Food and Wine festival.

Our 2016 Pinot Noir D. Cuvée will be paired with the busiate alla Trapanese course prepared by chef and co-owner of SheWolf Pastificio & Bar Anthony Lombardo.
