Traverse Food and Wine - what an amazing weekend👏

It is such a privilege to be able to work with Northern Michigan grapes. It’s an even greater privilege to be surrounded by such inspiring and innovative, top-tier chefs and restaurants that make our wines taste even better.

We were apart of some incredible showcases where wine experts got to dive deep into the stories of our wines and highlight the little intricacies that make Left Foot wines and Northern Michigan wines so special.

A huge shoutout to Susan Kostrzewa (Susan Kostrzewa) for selecting us to be apart of her fave five, and to Wind Dancer Sailing Adventures for having us aboard to drink our wines within the waters that help our plants thrive!

Thank you to our volunteers for helping during The Grand Tasting, and to everyone that came and supported.

We’ve had Sarah on our full time staff for five years today. She’s our Tasting Room Supervisor and Wine Club Assistant, but that title just doesn’t quite cover all she does. Sarah knows our wine club members and regulars (and their dogs) better than anyone; she holds things down through the slowest days of winter, and can juggle an entire patio in the craziest days of summer; she’s a skier, a sailor, a dog mom to Sunny, and a jewelry maker; she’s cold all the time and she sneezes in twos; she gets all our labels approved, assembles the boxes for club releases, and makes sure we always have both toilet paper and copy paper. Where would we be without her? Come in and raise a glass to Sarah this week - and by the time you leave, she’ll probably have signed you up for the wine club! 🥂

THIS Friday we have the Red Drive Concert on the Piazza (across from our tasting room) with Ted Bounty & The Bounty Hunters setting the stage from 6-8pm!

This musical megazord features a rotating cast of Michigan’s top tier musical characters improvising over bluegrass/funk/jam/jazz/folk/roots/reggae/gospel original and cover songs. Fun for the whole family!

Maddi’s little kitchen will be onsite cooking up some Venezuelan street food favorites from 5:00-7:30pm.

Grab food and drinks from us and our fellow Village neighbors to enjoy on the lawn!

Tasting Room hours on 8/21 ~ 12-8pm
