Well the rain took what was left of the cherries out so we are officially closed for the season. Big thanks to all who came to pick this season! We are planning to continue to improve & upgrade the orchard!🍒

Last night I picked and pitted 10 quarts of light sweets. That yielded enough pie filling to make 4-9” pies.

We vacuum seal the filling and freeze it so we can have cherry pie all year long.

We are open!!!

A little overcast this morning, but the view is still amazing.

No significant cracking from the rain last night. But the heat earlier this week has really pushed the ripening along.

There are still lots of very nice cherries in the orchard, but I am noticing more bird pecks and soft fruit, which means the end of season is approaching.

We should be open through the weekend, but I would be surprised if the crop holds out much longer than that.

So come on out, enjoy the cooler weather and pick yourself some Traverse City Cherries
