And just that quickly, our 2026 cherry season is over. Walking through a very hot humid orchard this morning, the last of our light sweets are getting soft.

Picked these today for the team serving at church this weekend. There is lots of beautiful fruit ready for pickup, and tomorrow’s weather is supposed to be excellent

In slightly less positive news, I found brown rot and fruit fly damage in the orchard for the first time today. It’s very isolated at the moment, but both of these pests can spread rapidly.

If you haven’t been out yet, now is the time. With the heat humidity and rain in the forecast this week, it’s unlikely we will still be open next weekend.

With high heat humidity and rain in the forecast for next week we expect the quality will start going downhill by mid week, so get them while they’re great.

Black sweets which can be picked from the ground are getting a little hard to find, still lots to pick from ladders. Or try the light sweets. At this point the are even sweeter than the blacks.

Tart cherries 🍒 are ripe & ready to pick.😊 Ripeness is uneven with both tarts & sweets so watch for dark color & taste test.

Customer s bright & early for opening. Cherries are $15 for a 5 quart pail & $30 for 10 quart pail. New this year! You can now pay through our Venmo account.

Good news! We are opening tomorrow July 3rd at 900am for sweet cherry picking. Tarts need to ripen a bit longer! If you need to use gps to get here please use 7166 Center Road. Apparently the 7178 address takes you astray. We are working on getting that remedied!
