They had gardened together for decades – purchasing a farm was inevitable. Husband and wife duo Jim Lemire and Denise Samuels bought the property now known as Inevitable Farm on Leelanau Peninsula in 2015. After walking the land for the first time, they were surprised to find hundreds and hundreds of peonies peeking out under the weeds in every direction. In 2016, Inevitable Farm’s first harvest o

f fresh peonies was cut and sold to vendors, stores, and individuals across Michigan. Fast forward to today, Inevitable Farm is proud to provide fresh and fragrant vintage peonies and other flowers to people and businesses throughout the community, state, and country. Inevitable Farm has provided joy to Jim and Denise that they could not have imagined in their wildest dreams.
