It has been a year since my baby cousin died on Juneteenth. But I checked in on my youngest aunt (only 10 years older than me) after saying my prayers.

I want to wish everyone a Happy JUNETEENTH! I pray that you had moments to reflect what this day actually is in history.

I prayed for all the folks that made this day possible.

I’m so TIREd!!!! This was the other night just b4 it stormed real bad, and I was TRYING to get everyone in the coop (well the ones that will at least GO in the coop & not in a 🪾 tree)…

I could hear the 🌩️ thunder coming and I was NOT gonna be caught outside!! AND I TOLD THEM!!! “I am NOT coming back outside to put you away ‘cause Momma is TIRED and wants to go INSIDE!!”

So I go back on my word (you know you’ve done it too whether y’all have feathered feet children OR the 2-legged kind…‼️), grab my huge green WEATHERMAN GOLF UMBRELLA ⛳️ and go outside when it’s pouring!

And what do I see when I open the gate? My ONLY male employee, in the rain, on the handlebars of the bicycle 🚲!!!

BUT WAIT—THERE’S MORE! There are 2️⃣ chickens on the handlebars!! 🐔🐔

You can’t make this stuff up!!

Wonder why I haven’t bn posting?? Wonder why my iPhone storage is FULL?? ‘Cause I’m TOO BUSY “parenting” chickens!

Somebody call CPS on me! Chicken Protection Services!!

We LOVE a double-yolker!!! Do y’all ever get one from the grocery store?? !!

I am helping my farming friend @ her farm today! She got a double-yolker straight from the coop!! 🥚🥚 Sun to Spoon at KC Sunshine Farm Indy is located in 4700 Moller Road, Indianapolis, IN 46254! I am learning about her 11 acres of farmland and her Farm Stop (a roadside stand that sells produce, honey, jam made in an inspected commercial kitchen & of course 🍳!) REASON BEHIND THIS?? So I can be successful at mine when it opens! 🧡💚🧡💚🥕👩🏾‍🌾

Y’all… the film came out BEAUTIFULLY! 💛🖤

Watching my farm, my animals, my bees, my gardens, and my business come to life on screen was an emotional experience. What started as a small dream has become a story worth telling.

I can’t wait to share it with all of you!
