DBH Farm Regenerative cattle producer providing beef direct to East TN and surrounding areas. Grass finished as well as corn finished are offered.

DBH Farm is a 4th generation cow/calf operation located in Treadway, TN. In 2017, we began implementing regenerative farming practices to improve soil and animal health. We stopped using any chemicals whatsoever. We do not use any fertilize nor herbicides. Animals are hormone and antibiotic free. We rotate cattle onto fresh forage twice daily during the growing season until we run out of grass in winter. From that point on, we feed organic/unsprayed hay until grass growth returns. In 2019, we began offering grass raised/corn finished freezer beef available by the quarter, half, or whole. Smaller bundles available, also. In 2021 we began offering 100% grass finished freezer beef. Also available by the quarter, half, or whole. For availability and other information please send us a message.

Ive just started giving these forage developed yearlings a touch of feed. Shooting for about 1% bodyweight with free choice hay and mineral til December, then put some of them to work. Im curious to see what they do between now and then. Ol red, here, is really tickling my fancy. His dam is 8 and grand dam is 15+; she came from Delmas Coffey.

The 4-5 year old at the trough is the sire. Blue/green tags are steers.

Had the pleasure of cutting some pretty thick patches of Desmodium, AKA tick trefoil or beggars lice. Its a really neat native legume. Seems like there could be two types in this valley. A large leaf and a small leaf... Hopefully some had made seed.
