Out of all the animals we raise, meat birds are some of my favorite! It only takes 7-8 weeks from the time they hatch to the time we’re processing them.

We’ve been loving this bird feeder! The kids even asked if I could print off coloring sheets and facts for all the birds we’ve been seeing. Homeschool win!

Our first group of meat birds for the year are getting picked up this month. Meat birds are one of our favorite things to raise. We raise about 200 a year!

Open up the windows and let the stale air out and the fresh air in. In the winter, I’ll do this once a week. but in the summer, it’s a daily ritual. It leaves the house feeling new and fresh.
