A Heartfelt Thank You
There are some things in life that start out as one thing and become something you never expected.
The Farm Stand was one of those things.
When we started this journey, we never imagined where it would lead us. What began with our little farm, a few chickens, a garden, some goats, cows, and far more eggs and milk than we knew what to do with eventually became a place where we could share not only what we raised, but what other local families were growing, baking, making, and raising, too.
And somewhere along the way, The Farm Stand became much more than a building.
It became a place where we got to know people.
A place where we watched families grow.
A place where old friends stopped in and new friends were made.
A place where we could put a face to a name, hear a story, lend a hand, and sometimes just stand around and talk for a while.
We have been incredibly blessed by every person who has walked through those doors.
You trusted us with your families' food. You supported our little farm. You encouraged us when things were difficult. You celebrated with us when things went well. And, perhaps most importantly, you became part of our story.
But every chapter has a beginning and an ending.
After much thought, prayer, and consideration, we have made the difficult decision to close The Farm Stand permanently after Saturday, August 29th.
That isn't an easy thing for us to say.
There is a lot of emotion wrapped up in those words because this place represents years of work, memories, answered prayers, hard lessons, laughter, exhaustion, and some of the sweetest moments our family has experienced since moving to Tennessee.
But we also believe there are seasons in life, and sometimes faith means recognizing when one season has come to an end.
So before we close the doors, we simply want to say:
Thank you.
Thank you for every gallon of milk.
Every dozen eggs.
Every loaf of bread.
Every jar of jam.
Every package of meat.
Every conversation.
Every smile.
Every encouraging word.
Every time you chose to shop with us when you could have gone somewhere else.
Thank you for believing in what we were trying to build.
Thank you for letting our family be a small part of yours.
And thank you for making The Farm Stand something we will never forget.
We hope you'll come see us one more time before we close on August 29th.
Come buy something. Come say goodbye. Come tell us a story. Come let us tell you one.
Most of all, come knowing that we are deeply grateful that you were part of this chapter of our lives.
The Farm Stand may be closing, but the memories—and the friendships—will stay with us.
Plus, if you keep following us, we will from time to time have things available from the farmstead.
With love and gratitude,
The Headfirst Farmstead Family ❤️
