Chow Maine Foods is a local Maine company making fresh, ready-to-eat boxed meals sold in grocery stores and co-ops all the way down to Connecticut. We’re looking for a hardworking, reliable person to join our kitchen team!
Position: Dishwashing, Cleaning & Food Preparation
Location: Trenton, ME
Hours: Full-time / Part-time
Starting Pay: $18/hour starting
Business: Open year-round (not seasonal)
What you’ll do:
Wash dishes and keep the kitchen clean and organized
Help with general cleaning tasks
Assist with food preparation as needed
Follow food safety and sanitation practices
What we’re looking for:
Dependable and ready to work in a team environment
Kitchen or food safety experience is a plus (but not required – we’ll train the right person!)
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Benefits:
30-minute paid lunch break every day
Lunch is provided daily (or bring your own if you prefer)
After 1 year of employment:
1 week paid vacation
5 paid holidays: 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, and Chinese New Year
