🐷❤️ BIG NEWS and honestly, this one hits a little different.

We are SO excited to announce that we've officially partnered with the Hekter family to bring their locally-raised, pasture-to-plate pork right here into our shop. This isn't just a business decision, this is something we've been genuinely proud to be a part of.

Many of you already know Hannah Hekter, she's one of our amazing part-time employees here at the shop and a student at Treynor High School. What you might not know is that behind Hannah is an incredible family who has been raising pigs on their multi-generational farm. Today, we had the privilege of making the drive out to their farm to see it all firsthand. The land, the animals, and the people who pour their hearts into every single day out there.

And we'll tell you what….walking those grounds and meeting the whole family reminded us exactly WHY we do what we do. This is what quality looks like. This is what integrity in farming looks like. These aren't just pigs on a property, they're raised with care, with intention, and with a whole lot of love by a family that takes enormous pride in what they produce.

We are beyond honored to carry their pork and to bring that same quality directly to YOUR table. When you buy from us, you're not just getting the best pork around, you're supporting a local family, a local farm, and a tradition that deserves to be celebrated.

GreenSpace Jam is tomorrow and it should be a great time. Don't miss all of the efforts by Treynor's Tomorrow and the Jeff Schoening to bring music to our community. Don't forget your chairs and blankets. There does not appear to be rain in the forecast for the concert. Overflow parking will be in the Treynor Community Center once the TS Bank parking is full. Come join Jeff, Kelsey Stupfell, and myself in the green space west of the bank for a great time!

Who’s joining us?

We are 17 days out from the incredible BBQ for Treynor Days. The stage is set and we are ready to serve great food. We could still use 4-5 more grillers to make this complete. If you are a BBQ person and just love to cook, this day is meant for you. No pressure, just join in the fun. If you would like more information, call the city offices at 712-487-3787 and we will get you set up! We will be smoking baby back ribs and pork butt! You will even get a free t-shirt with this on front.

New brat flavors for this week! We decided to do a little something for the adults and the kids this time. For the adults we cracked open one of your favorite lattes and made a “blue can” brat. We got extra creative for the kiddos and made gummy bear brats. 😳 Yes actual gummy bears in a brat! Stop in and give them both a try today. We are open until 6. See you soon!
