First art night of the season!

Let's Walk! The kick-off for Trinidad Art Nights 2024 is Saturday, April 27th, from 5:30 until 8:30 pm, with the Bayou Swamis with Cajun/Zydeco flavored dance at Saunders Plaza East, and The Flying Oms, an eclectic traditional and classical music duo with Rob Diggins and Jolianne Einem at Trinidad Town Hall, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Trinidad Art Gallery hosts a wine-pour with snacks as a benefit for Trinidad Coastal land Trust with featured art by ceramist Diane Sonderegger and photographer Christine Connerly and much more! This town-wide art walk will include a variety of venues and live music, artist receptions, classes, crafts, face-painting, pop-up sales and silks or fire performances by Circus of Elements. Presented by Forbes & Associates- Sarah Corliss, sponsored by local businesses, and produced by Westhaven Center for the Arts on all last Saturdays through September. Exhibit: Photographs by Jimmy Callian. "Through photography I try to capture the dynamic moments at night, using long exposures and natural light. My goal is to draw the viewer into an ethereal, kinetic moment in time in order to see the world in a different and unique light, and be inspired by the unique moments I capture." -Jimmy

EVENT INFORMATION STATION and Pop-up shop!

*Pop Up Shop: Saturdays 11 am - 8:30 pm and Sundays, from 11 am - 3 pm in April, June - September. Shop for art, jewelry, greeting cards, household items, lighthouse memorabilia and more! Proceeds benefit the Memorial Lighthouse Project, paying for painting, signage, flagpole installation and landscaping. The Project is currently under construction and transforming into a beautiful monument preserving maritime history, dedicated to those lost or buried at sea.

*Music: 7-8:30 p.m. The Flying Oms, an eclectic, traditional and classical music duo with Rob Diggins and Jolianne Einem performing a rich mix of tunes.

Trinidad Art Gallery 490 Trinity St

Exhibit: The gallery will host a reception featuring ceramicist Diane Sonderegger and photographer Christine Connerly.

Benefit: There will be snacks and a wine pour to benefit Trinidad Coastal Land Trust.

Trinidad Bay Eatery & Gallery 607 Parker St

Exhibit: Nature and earth-inspired art made with love, by watercolor artists Amber Star.

Music: TBA.

Tasting: From the orchards of Crazy River Ranch taste ciders made by orchardist and head cider maker Jessical Lovelady and orchardist Brett Mcfarland.

Moonstone Crossing 529 Trinity St.

Exhibit: Genise Smith, Digital Art, genise.-smith-pixels.com

Wine tasting: Pick from a large assortment of Moonstone Crossing wines hand-crafted in small quantities using traditional-style winemaking techniques. Red wines are aged in French and American oak 22-36 months before bottling and then bottle aged an additional 6 months. Per Humboldt County Health Dept recommendations, and due to an increase in covid cases (44 cases yesterday) we are requiring people to wear masks inside when not seated. Please honor our decision to keep our staff and customers safe.

We are, at long last (13 months) open for tasting. At 25% capacity we can only have 6-7 people inside at a time. We recommend you call for an appointment and walk in appts are fine too if we have space. For appt, call (707)845-5492. Our hours at this time are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 1-5, Saturday and Sunday 12:00-5:00. Covid protocols are in place. Face masks are still required if you are not sitting and sipping.
We look forward to pouring wine for you once again.

Mothers are so special that in my mind, every day should be Mother’s Day.
