💖 To Our Beautiful Community: A Bitter-Sweet Announcement 💖

A little less than two years ago, we opened our doors with a opportunity, a lot of heart, and a passion for bringing people together. Today, we are writing to share that this upcoming weekend will be our last.
Closing this chapter was not an easy decision to make. From our Friday happy hour crew and the anniversary celebrations, graduations and weddings, to the regular faces who became like family over a cocktail or a favorite meal—you made this space feel like home.

🎉 One Last Weekend to Celebrate

We don’t want to say goodbye with sadness; we want to celebrate the beautiful chapter this has been! We are open for one final weekend, and we would love nothing more than to raise a glass with you, share some hugs, and serve you your favorites one last time.

As we head into our final days, supporting our staff who have stuck with us one more time would mean the absolute world to us. Let’s send them off with the love, appreciation (and tips!) they so richly deserve.

One of the biggest challenges we face as a business today, in Trinidad, is limited staff.

We have big events this coming week with the Colorado Creative Industries Summit in town, and we are proud to be providing food and drink for so many creative folks.

With big events coming, our small, dedicated staff and I need some room to prepare, plan, and execute.

With that, The Hive will be closed this weekend.

I'm sorry we will miss you.

We are short on staff tonight, so our kitchen is closed, however.

Patrick is making the kick ass cocktails, and we are serving complimentary snacks!

Heads up, Trinidad! The City of Trinidad Power & Light Department will be conducting essential upgrades to our electrical system, which means a scheduled power outage for some.

🗓 When: Tuesday, May 12, 2026
🕔 Start Time: 5:00 p.m.
🕒 Estimated Restoration: 3:00 a.m. (Wednesday, May 13) — or sooner if work wraps up early

This outage will impact customers in the highlighted areas on the map and is necessary to replace aging infrastructure, including critical power poles and cross-arms. These proactive improvements help keep our system reliable and resilient.

We know outages are never convenient, and we appreciate your patience as we invest in Trinidad’s infrastructure and future.

There will be no notifications provided during this scheduled outage due to the scheduled times of this outage.
