Today's tedious farming task! I removed thousands of seeds from hundreds of sunflower seed heads. We hope that next year we have vast fields of native wild flowers around our entire property so we have been harvesting tons of seeds to spread in the spring!

Anyone in Trinidad or surrounding areas interested in purchasing or trading for fresh locally harvested hops? I harvested them myself. I don't know the variety but I know my hands smell amazing after picking them!

I got the absolute hook up today from my sweet neighbor Beverly! She grows some amazing marigolds and we asked if we could pick some. She insisted that she pick them for us and brought us this huge box of flowers. We have so many products in mind with these! We're going to make floral teas, salves and so many other products with it. I spent the whole day clipping flowers and now I have them drying out for future use! So thankful for all of our amazing neighbors who have been so welcoming to us in this community!
