Princess Peach & Mario are doing great!

Newborn baby goats, called kids, are usually able to stand and walk within minutes to an hour after birth. They are born with a soft coat and depend on their mother’s milk, especially colostrum, which provides essential nutrients and antibodies to help protect them from disease. Kids nurse several times a day and grow quickly during their first weeks of life. They use their sense of smell to recognize their mother and stay close to her for warmth and safety. In the first few days, baby goats sleep often, gain strength, and begin learning normal herd behaviors by watching and following their mother.
