Blackberry Creamed Honey

Working on a batch of creamed honey. Creamed honey is semi-solid honey that makes an awesome spread for biscuits. This year I am trying a new blackberry flavor. It is simply honey with natural blackberries mixed in. It should take about a week to set.

Honey bees make honey from nectar to fuel their flight – and our sweet tooth. But they also need pollen for protein. So they trap, brush and pack it into baskets on their legs to make a special food called bee bread.

After reading this, I sat down to design my label and I immediately sketched a honey bee to be the focus on all my designs. I believe that honey bees are facinating creatures and that they deserve to be credited for all of their hard work. The purpose of this page is to show how the honey gets from the flower to the jar. I hope you check in to learn about honey, honey bees, and beekeeping.
