These Brown Swiss cows are just some old gentle giants… until you show them a feed bucket. 😂
Ms. Brittany is getting her a little extra treat today, but don’t stand in her way! It’s her turn for a date with the AI technician, and apparently she thinks good behavior deserves snacks. 🐄❤️
Hopefully in about 9 months, we’ll have a new little Brown Swiss calf to show for it!

People are always asking me, “What did y’all do this weekend?” ❤️

The truth is, at the farm, there really isn’t such a thing as a weekend off. There is always something to do, something to learn, and usually something messy happening! 😂🐄

But today was one of those days that reminded me just how **truly blessed we are**.

After milking, we separated cream and made fresh homemade **ice cream, yogurt, butter, and cheese**. 🧈🍦🥛🧀 We also rendered beef tallow that we’ll soon be turning into homemade soap! 🧼

These may seem like simple things, but to me, they are so much more. They are time spent working side by side, teaching our kids, learning old-fashioned skills, laughing, and making memories that I hope they carry with them for the rest of their lives.

There is something so special about a life where you can work hard with the people you love, make something with your own hands, and at the end of the day look back and know you did it together.

**God has been so good to our family.** 🙏❤️

I’m thankful for the farm, thankful for the work, thankful for the lessons, and most of all, thankful for the people I get to share it all with.

Sometimes the greatest blessings aren’t found in the big moments… they’re found in the ordinary days that we get to spend together. 🌾🐄❤️

This is exactly why we do what we do. Knowing that our farm-fresh cream not only makes delicious butter but also brings back cherished family memories is such a blessing. Food has a beautiful way of connecting generations, and we're honored to be a small part of those special moments.

There’s just something special about Sundays like this. ❤️
We started our day worshiping at Trail to Christ Cowboy Church, soaking in God’s goodness and the reminder of how faithful He has been to our family. Then we came home, rolled up our sleeves, and spent the afternoon in the kitchen together making cultured butter — over 5 pounds of beautiful golden butter from the milk God has blessed our farm with.

Moments like these make my heart so full. The simple things — working side by side, creating food with our hands, and building this life together — are blessings I never want to take for granted. 🧈🐄

Now it’s on to fresh mozzarella and a little creamy cottage cheese. Thank you, Lord, for providing for our family and allowing us to share it with others.

And thank YOU to everyone who supports our little family farm. We are so grateful for each order, every kind word, and every family who lets us deliver fresh milk and homemade goodies right to their doorstep every Monday and Thursday. ❤️
