šŸˆ Sometimes wellness looks like picking a team and yelling at the TV together. šŸ˜‚

This season, we’ve found so much JOY in a little healthy competition, family rivalry, cheering for our teams, and having something fun to look forward to each week.

And here’s the funny part… I didn’t choose the Vikings because of some lifelong dedication. šŸ˜‚ A sweet friend turned me onto them, I decided to claim a team, started learning the players and the game—and suddenly it became FUN.

Now there’s anticipation. Playful trash talk. Family traditions being created. A reason to gather. šŸ’œTHRIFT STORE TEAM REGALIAšŸ’œā€¦ Something to cheer about. A little friendly competition and a whole lot of laughter.

And honestly, this is part of wellness too.

We spend so much time talking about nutrition, exercise, sleep, stress, and all the things we ā€œshouldā€ be doing for our health. But sometimes we forget about the things that simply make life more FUN.

Joy matters.
Play matters.
Connection matters.
Having something to look forward to matters.

You don’t have to be a die-hard sports fan. Sometimes you just pick a team, join the camaraderie, make some memories, and let yourself have FUN.

So here’s to healthy competition, family traditions, finding little pockets of joy—and apparently becoming a Vikings fan along the way. šŸ˜‚šŸ’œšŸ’›

SKOL! GO VIKINGS! šŸˆ

What’s something simple your family does that gives you something to look forward to?

WHERE MY CRUNCHY FRIENDS AT?! šŸ˜‚šŸŒ²šŸ‚

Cozy season has officially arrived, which means I’m bringing out the ultimate fall fashion statement…

Socks. With. Sandals. 🧦🩓

Is it fashionable? Debatable.
Is it cozy? Absolutely.
Do I care what anyone thinks? Not even a little. šŸ˜‚

At this stage of life, I’m choosing warm toes, comfy shoes, crisp air, and doing things that make me smile.

So I need to know…

šŸ‘‡ Socks with sandals: YES or absolutely NOT?

And bonus points if you’re already rocking wool socks, Birkenstocks, and something homemade fermenting on your counter. šŸ˜‚

FUN FRIDAY šŸ˜‚šŸ“

A little pickleball, a lot of laughs, and time with my girl. šŸ¤

They grow up way too fast, and lately I’m reminded that wellness isn’t only about what we eat, how we exercise, or checking another healthy habit off the list.

Sometimes it looks like finding your energy givers—the people and activities that fill your cup instead of draining it. Being present. Laughing until your stomach hurts. Moving your body because it’s FUN. And soaking up the little moments while they’re still little.

✨ Your Friday challenge: Do one thing this weekend simply because it brings you JOY. What’s your favorite energy giver? Tell me below! šŸ‘‡

POV: You walk into a room with confidence… and absolutely no idea why you’re there. šŸ˜‚

Ahhh, midlife brain fog. Where your keys are missing, your phone is in your hand, and you’ve walked into the office three times because apparently the first two trips were just for cardio. šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø

But while we can laugh about it, feeling foggy, scattered, overstimulated, and forgetful doesn’t always have to be something we simply accept as ā€œgetting older.ā€

In coaching, we get curious instead of judgmental.

We look at things like sleep, stress, nervous system overload, nutrition, blood sugar, hormones, movement, and the sheer mental load you’re carrying—and then we work on small, doable changes that actually fit your life.

Because sometimes your brain doesn’t need you to try harder.

It needs more support. 🌱

And maybe a sticky note telling you why you walked into the room. šŸ˜‚

If midlife has you wondering, ā€œIs this just me now?ā€ā€”let’s talk.

09/30/2026

Maybe we’re not craving the 80s and 90s.

Maybe we’re craving less stimulation. 🌿

We live in a world of constant notifications, information, noise, expectations, and accessibility. Our brains rarely get the chance to simply… be.

And our nervous systems feel it.

Sometimes supporting your health isn’t about adding another thing to your list. It’s intentionally creating moments that tell your body:

You don’t have to be ā€œonā€ right now.

Put the phone down. Go outside. Sit in the quiet. Take the slow drive. Drink the coffee without multitasking. Let yourself be bored again.

Small moments of less input can become powerful moments of regulation.

✨ What’s one thing from the slower, pre-smartphone world you could bring back into your life this week? Tell me below.

09/29/2026

Anyone else a ā€œnotification pile-upā€ person? šŸ™‹ā€ā™€ļøšŸ˜‚

I’m actually someone who LOVES getting things done. Give me a checklist and I will happily start checking boxes. āœ”ļø

But notifications? Apparently, those live by a completely different set of rules. šŸ˜‚

If I see your text while I’m working, coaching, driving, with my kids, or in the middle of something else, there’s a very real possibility I’ll think, ā€œI’ll answer that in a minuteā€¦ā€ and then it disappears into the notification abyss.

And here’s the funny part: I’m incredibly intentional and responsive with my coaching clients. When I’m in that space, I’m IN it. But in this season of life, I’ve also learned that I cannot be immediately available to everything and everyone all the time.

And honestly? That’s a little bit of coaching in itself.

Not everything needs to be handled immediately.
Not every red bubble needs to disappear.
Not every unfinished task means you’re failing.

Sometimes the healthiest thing we can do is decide what matters most in this season and give ourselves permission to let some of the other stuff wait.

I talk with my clients all the time about the doable portion—because health, habits, and life aren’t about perfectly keeping all the plates spinning. They’re about consistently showing up for the things that matter most.

So if I haven’t responded…try me again. šŸ˜‚ I promise it’s probably not personal. Your message is just hanging out with 738 of its closest friends.

Now tell me: Are you Team Zero Notifications šŸ˜‡ or Team ā€œI’ll Get to Those Eventuallyā€ šŸ™ˆ?

09/15/2026

šŸš—šŸ€šŸāš½ļø No joke… I’m officially back in SPORT MOM MODE.

You know the season… when your car becomes your second home, your calendar looks like a game of Tetris, dinner is occasionally eaten in a parking lot, and you’re pretty sure you should be earning mileage points for kid transportation. šŸ˜‚

Kudos to ALL the moms and dads out there making it work—juggling jobs, practices, games, school, meals, laundry, life… and somehow getting everyone where they need to be with most of their equipment. 😜

It’s not easy. It takes time, energy, sacrifice and approximately 47 trips back and forth across town.

But showing up for our kids and the things they love? ā¤ļø Worth it.

So to all my fellow chauffeur/snack-provider/schedule-coordinator/bleacher-sitting parents…

I see you. I appreciate you. I AM you. šŸ˜‚

Now excuse me while I get back in the car. šŸš—šŸ’Ø

ā€œShe changed.ā€

NO.

She navigated loss.
She raised a family.
She carried everyone else’s needs.
She lived through stress, shifting hormones, changing bodies, sleepless nights, and seasons that asked more of her than she thought she had.

And somewhere along the way…

She GREW. 🌱

She started setting boundaries.
She learned that ā€œnoā€ is a complete sentence.
She stopped wearing exhaustion like a badge of honor.
She realized prioritizing her health isn’t selfish.
And she decided her peace is worth protecting.

Women’s health is about so much more than calories, labs, hormones, or the number on the scale.

It’s about helping a woman come back to herself.

Learning to nourish her body.
Regulate her nervous system.
Build strength.
Honor what her body is telling her.
Challenge the stories that have kept her stuck.
And create habits that actually fit the season she’s in.

Sometimes when people say, ā€œShe changedā€¦ā€

I think, GOOD. She was supposed to. 🌱

That’s what growth looks like.
