We offer horse training from the ground up and have decades of experience from handling weanlings, starting those youngsters in harness or under saddle, finishing work for the show ring. We specialize in Morgan and gaited breeds, but other breeds are welcome. All ages and disciplines welcome, riding or driving. Clio may not have papers, but she’s got those classic Morgan looks and kind personality that makes us all love Morgans. She is broke to ride, sound, and willing to try whatever is asked of her. She has never offered to buck, rear, or refuse. Her canter still needs some finishing but she can do it! Clio would be well suited for someone who wants a brave partner who wants to hit the trails, maybe dabble in some dressage, or even teach her to jump. She’s very willing to work over ground poles, goes through mud and water, and has had a lot of desensitizing work done. She is happy stalled or turned out in a group.

Clio has had around 90 days training at this time. Her late start is through no fault of hers and she she has been a kind and willing student who’s getting stronger and more confident every day. Her only blemish is that the tips of her ears were frostbitten at some point. Great feet and has always been barefoot.

Priced at $8000 and willing to negotiate for a great home.

We have one training stall opening in March so if you’ve been thinking of sending your horse for training, now is the time to get on the list!

We offer saddle and harness training from the ground up, tuneups to get ready for show (or trail riding) season. Special preference for Morgans and gaited breeds, but all welcome.

Just a hair under 14.2 barefoot

Clio is a well built, conformationally correct, and beautiful Morgan. Although she is full-blooded, she is NOT currently registered (it’s a long and complicated story). She didn’t have the best start in life (another long story) but she’s got clean legs and good bone. Her only physical flaw is frost bite damage to the tips of her ears (related to those long stories 😉).
Clio had a late start due to no fault of her own and is started under saddle and currently in training to continue to her saddle work. Although green, she has never offered to buck or anything bad intentioned. With her beautiful movement and Morgan intelligence, she would be a really nice prospect for dressage or western dressage. Or just enjoy having a beautiful Morgan to hit the trails with. She’s been started on ground poles and handled them like a seasoned professional. She sure would make a cute jumper pony with more training! With her sensible and kind disposition, there are many paths to success with this lovely mare!

Clio is up to date on all routine care and has a current coggins. She does well turned out in a group or stalled.

Priced at $8500 and a great home is a priority.

Tucker is a very experienced trail horse with a great attitude and smooth ride. Tucker has been primarily used for easy going rides and has been ridden by advanced beginners and intermediate riders as well as done “pony rides” for children. He ties, trailers, stands for the farrier. He’s been out with a gelding here with no issues (both middle of the pack) and has been out in gelding groups in the past. He’s good stalled or turned out and easy to catch! He’s also super sweet and likes human interactions.

Tucker can canter but prefers walk/jog/trot and hasn’t really been expected to canter in his previous home. He is not currently in training. He’d make a really nice ranch horse with some additional arena work. He neck reins great too!

This natural wood show cart is in very good condition. The wheels are like new. No cracking on the basket (small scuff on a corner). The wood is all in excellent condition. Minor cosmetic cracking on patent leather of the shafts.

This is a well made buggy and has been extremely well cared for. Covers all included.

We are located in Troy and about 45 minutes from the champions center in springfield if you’re already near by for a show!
