There's something so satisfying about making products from ingredients we've grown right here on our own farm! 🥹

This morning, I'm whipping up a fresh batch of our Breathe Rub!🌱

I've got fresh peppermint and eucalyptus, harvested right here at The Currie Roots, slowly simmering on low to infuse all that wonderful herbal goodness into our rub!

🌿 DID YOU KNOW?!

💚 Peppermint naturally contains menthol, which creates that familiar cooling sensation and refreshing aroma we all love!

🌱 Eucalyptus contains a naturally occurring compound called eucalyptol (1,8-cineole), known for its fresh, invigorating scent commonly associated with v***r rubs!

🌶️ From the garden to the jar!🌱❤️

There’s just something so satisfying about growing your own food, walking out to the garden, picking fresh produce, and turning it into something delicious!

Our jalapeño plants have been putting in the WORK this year! 🌿🌶️ And today, I put some of those freshly picked peppers to good use!

On today's homemade menu:
🌶️ Sweet & Spicy Cowboy Candy
🍯 Homemade Cowboy Candy Syrup

If you've never tried Cowboy Candy, you're missing out! It's the perfect combination of sweet, spicy, and tangy! Delicious over cream cheese with crackers, on burgers, sandwiches, BBQ, and so much more!

And don't even get me started on that syrup! 🤤 Drizzle it over grilled chicken, use it as a glaze, or add a little sweet heat to your favorite dishes!

Fun fact: Did you know jalapeños can turn red if you leave them on the plant long enough? As they ripen, they develop a sweeter, fruitier flavor while still bringing the heat! 🌶️

This is one of my favorite parts of gardening. Watching a tiny seed grow into a productive plant, harvesting what you've grown, and creating something your family can enjoy.

A little dirt, a little patience, and a whole lot of homemade goodness! ❤️
