Got our first row of drip tape and plastic mulch down last night before the storms! Was hoping to get a few more done but ran out of daylight.. hopefully we can get some more stuff planted soon! 🍅 🫑 🍉 🌽

It has been an exciting day! I used our quail eggs to hatch in an incubator at school (I teach preschool). We had a live stream to watch from our classrooms and had to check on them several times during the day. Four of them have hatched! Let’s see if any more make it 🐣

Sweet Corn going in tonight! Planted 6 hybrids 🌽 bi-color, yellow and white! This patch will have 4 different plantings this summer so we can always have sweet corn available at our stand 🤠

Planting 2026 is a go! Took advantage of the nice weather this weekend and got some potatoes and early sweet corn planted 🌽 🥔

Exciting news! 🐷 we are going to start offering our pasture, free range pork this year! It would be a half or whole hog available for purchase. Our pigs are raised on pasture, free to roam, root and forage. They are antibiotic free and fed our farm grown corn. We would love to hear if this is something anyone would be interested in! Made some chicken broth from chicken trimmings and forgotten veggies in the fridge 😝 plus makes great cat and dog food for the farm!!

2026 crop year is underway! Planted onions on 1/13 and they started emerging today! 🧅 🌱

Our new additions to the farm (Quail) are starting to lay some eggs! Excited to compare them to chicken eggs 🥚 🍳

Just put in an order for our seeds for the 2026 growing season! 7 varieties of sweetcorn, 2 seedless watermelons, 18 types of pumpkins, 2 cucumbers, 2 popcorn, 2 zucchini, cantaloupe, and onions! 🤪 and more to come!!
