Good Friday morning Barnstead Pantry Family and Friends.

You may have heard a rumor that the Barnstead Pantry is moving. To clear this up....nope.

While we have purchased a building on Canton Street in downtown Troy, the Barnstead Pantry will continue to operate at 7686 Route 6, where it has been for years.

In regard to the building on Canton St., keep your eyes peeled for the new Salmagundi Bodega! We have plans to bring in a line of specialty food items that many of our present customers have requested. It will complement, and fit in nicely with offerings already available to you in other businesses. It will also be more accessible to thos of you who work in town, and want to run in for a few things on your lunch-time. Stay tuned!

Good Thursday afternoon Barnstead Pantry Family and Friends.

Great news, our power is back on, and we are up and running. Thank you to the twenty-six customers, who prowled around with us, and were able to find and get what they needed.

Now, to get that generator fixed!

I'm sorry to report that we have no power in the store as of 8:15 am. WE ARE OPEN, but can only process sales paid by cash or check.

Penelec has given us several restore times, but they have passed. We understand that the outage extends from the Rt6/Rt14 interchange to West Burlington.

We will let you know as soon as the power comes back on. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you to the many people who attended the event. It was held in the Troy Historical Society, across the street because of the rain, but by all reports it was succesful.

Good Saturday afternoon Barnstead Pantry Family and Friends.

It is such a beautiful day, it has put me in a generous mood.
Beginning Tuesday 7/28, through Saturday 8/01, we will be celebrating Troy Fair Week by offering a 10% discount on everything in the store, except for previously discounted items. All you need to do, in order to get the discount, is Show us you Fair Bracelet or just let us know you were there, (we always trust our customers). SUCH A DEAL!!!
