Good Friday morning Barnstead Pantry Family and Friends.
While food prices seem to continue to rise, we at Barnstead Pantry are doing everything we can to help you with the cost.
We now have a "Bulk Spice Corner" in the store, where we have placed larger quantities of some items, which helps us keep the cost down. Come on in and check it out, and ask about ways that we can help.

And here are a few othet items we have reduced in price:
Whole Celery Seeds
Basil Leaves
Mustard Seeds
Ground Tumeric
Diced Sweet Red and Green Bell Pepper Flakes.

We hope to see you soon!

Good Friday morning Barnstead Pantry Family and Friends.

You may have heard a rumor that the Barnstead Pantry is moving. To clear this up....nope.

While we have purchased a building on Canton Street in downtown Troy, the Barnstead Pantry will continue to operate at 7686 Route 6, where it has been for years.

In regard to the building on Canton St., keep your eyes peeled for the new Salmagundi Bodega! We have plans to bring in a line of specialty food items that many of our present customers have requested. It will complement, and fit in nicely with offerings already available to you in other businesses. It will also be more accessible to thos of you who work in town, and want to run in for a few things on your lunch-time. Stay tuned!

Good Thursday afternoon Barnstead Pantry Family and Friends.

Great news, our power is back on, and we are up and running. Thank you to the twenty-six customers, who prowled around with us, and were able to find and get what they needed.

Now, to get that generator fixed!

Good Thursday morning Barnstead Pantry Family and Friends.

I'm sorry to report that we have no power in the store as of 8:15 am. WE ARE OPEN, but can only process sales paid by cash or check.

Penelec has given us several restore times, but they have passed. We understand that the outage extends from the Rt6/Rt14 interchange to West Burlington.

We will let you know as soon as the power comes back on. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Thank you to the many people who attended the event. It was held in the Troy Historical Society, across the street because of the rain, but by all reports it was succesful.
