I cannot thank Steve Barnes and Times Union enough for this article. Steve was extremely kind and understanding, captured Kyle perfectly, and through our texts brought me to the realization that somewhere, in another life, he is writing about us opening our restaurant instead ❤ You would have loved this article Kyle.

The farm-to-table chef Kyle MacPherson beat cancer at 20 while in culinary school, but he was diagnosed again last summer and died Jan. 21

That’s right, you give blood, you get FREE Halloween cupcakes! Giving blood is one of the easiest ways you can DRAMATICALLY change someone’s life. So, we thought it was fitting that till the end of spooky season (the rest of October) if you can DM us proving you’ve donated blood this October, or have signed up to donate in the near future, and we’ll give you 6 chocolate and vanilla buttercream cupcakes! These will be pickup only 10/24-10/26 in Troy! ♥️

I’ve never been someone who saw “signs” or looked for “meaning” in coincidence, but it’s undeniable how remarkable it is that the people who shaped a lot of my career in the culinary world, who I really began it with in NY so many years ago, are hosting a benefit for only a very short journey from where Kyle and I first met in VT. I’m absolutely floored by their kindness, because this is something they don’t have to do, hours they don’t have to put in, and effort they don’t have to put forth, but went out of their way to. I wish with all my might we could be there to eat at this, and we CAN’T STRESS ENOUGH how this would be worth the drive, because these are BY FAR some of the most talented and accomplished people doing the damn thing right now in NY and VT. Thank you and You’re more than amazing, and I hope you know how much you each mean to myself and Kyle on so so many levels ♥️♥️

John and Eva Moore are two of the most selfless and generous people we know. When we could no longer have dinners at our original location, they welcomed us with open arms to hold our dinners Now, they’re teaming up with the extremely talented team to help us once again, and we couldn’t be more grateful. This menu is amazing, and with all the St. Croix products it will be sure to be delicious. You can purchase tickets at the link in our bio ♥️
