What started as a passion for making hot sauce has grown into a small business that we’re incredibly proud of. From producing our sauces here in Truckee to expanding into retailers throughout Northern California and Nevada, it’s been an amazing journey and we’re just getting started.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us along the way, from our customers and retailer partners to the local community and everyone who has helped spread the word.

Truckee residents Tray and Janai Shock had been experimenting with making hot sauce in their kitchen for more than 10 years before they decided to take the plunge and start their own small-batch business, Truckee Hot Sauce Co., in May 2024.

📣 BIG NEWS, WOLF PACK 📣

We’re incredibly honored to announce that Truckee Hot Sauce Company has officially partnered with Nevada Athletics to release Pack Attack Hot Sauce! 🌶️

What started as an idea inspired by students in Nevada’s marketing program has turned into an officially licensed product that celebrates the incredible Wolf Pack community. Even better, a portion of every bottle sold goes right back to the University of Nevada, Reno.

This partnership means the world to us and is a reminder that amazing things can happen when local businesses and universities intertwine.
