Work is underway to transfer our you-pick blueberry business to new managers this year as we are retiring from farming and wine making. Glenhaven Farm will no longer have a presence at the Ithaca Farmers Market as of 2026. We are grateful for the support of all our loyal customers over the years. You are the best! Inspired by the amazing blueberry scone I had recently at the Pangea Global Teahouse in Watkins Glen, I whipped up these buttermilk blueberry scones today. You can’t go wrong with a fruit galette featuring peaches and summer berries. This one was made with blackberries and blueberries. The filling sprinkled on the bottom of the crust is a mixture of ground almonds, ground crystallized ginger, sugar and flour. Just google “peach berry galette” for ideas. For a quick and simple blueberry dessert try this Chez Panisse blueberry cobbler. Just Google the name of the dish online to get the recipe. You’ll need 4.5 cups of fresh Glenhaven Farm blueberries. Don’t forget vanilla ice cream to serve with it.
