Bel Canto Farm is a family run farm located on 40 acres in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of New York State. We specialize in select breeding and selling of heritage Kunekune pig. We also raise alpaca and egg chickens and offer individual and group tours of our farm.

14 years ago we started our herd with a beautiful Wilson’s Gina sow named Bonnie. Scarlet is the 6th generation descendant from that sow line. Her dam, Sassafras, died shortly after giving birth and Scarlet was 1 of 5 that I raised by hand. She’s a special gal and I’m really looking forward to her delivery. She is bred to our Te Whangi boar, Wrangler and due later this week.

Bel Canto Farm is a family run Kunekune pig farm located on 40 acres in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of New York State. We specialize in selective breeding and preservation of the rare and unique heritage Kunekune pig. Bel Canto Farm offers the highest quality breeding stock and customer support to those wanting to begin or expand upon their Kunekune herd as well as managing a meat herd. As a participant in the Kunekune Preservation Project, we are dedicated to educating others about the qualities of the Kunekune and their exquisite pork products. Our Kunekune meat can be purchased as a half or whole hog. In addition we offer select USDA Certified cuts of pork.
