Black Diamond Farm Welcome to Black Diamond Farm, source of the most distinguished fruit available, locally or long-distance. And our Black Diamond Cider just debuted this fall.

We’ve got superb summer fruit, and mid August thru December we specialize in amazing heirloom apple varieties. Black Diamond Farm is growing cherries, berries, peaches, plums, and grapes. Then in fall, it's pears and apples...... some familiar, some brand new, many heritage varieties. A section of our orchard is dedicated to specialty hard cider varieties. Unlike many new cideries, our ciders are made exclusively from our own apples.

CIDER FRUIT AVAILABLE!

In a few months our cider cooler will look something like this. For a number of years now we have been selling fruit to other cider makers around New York state and beyond who have done amazing things with it.

With a huge crop coming in, we still have a significant amount of cider fruit available including many French and English bittersweets and various heirloom varieties.

Varieties available include:

Binet Rouge

Kingston Black
Porter’s Perfection

Fruit is available by the bin or bushel and custom pressing is also available for an additional fee.

Our apple and cider CSA starts in less than a month.

If you have not signed-up, now is your chance to enjoy more than 50 different apple varieties as well as other fruits and some amazing orchard-driven ciders all grown and produced right here on the farm.

Choose from multiple share sizes, lengths, and pick-up locations. You can sign up for a fruit share only or add-on a cider share.

t feels as though our cup runneth over this week. Not only are we still wrapping up a phenomenal cherry harvest, but the first two varieties of plums ripened this week along with an absolutely delicious plumcot. Wondering what a plumcot is? It's a cross between an apricot and a plum, but with more plum-like characteristics.

We will have all of the aforementioned fruits, plus blueberries at the this weekend. It will be the perfect storm of fruitful deliciousness! If you ever wanted to try a cherry-plum tart, this will be the weekend to do it!

CHERRIES!!! The cherries are ready and we are set up at the Ithaca Farmers Market Saturday and Sunday with them. We will have sweet and tart cherries on Saturday and sweet only on Sunday. Come see us in booth #12 and get them while they last!

Do you have a flexible schedule and are looking for extra work? We are looking for someone to help in the orchards harvesting fruit this season and can also help run our booth at the farmer's market on the weekends (Saturday and/or Sunday). Starting pay is $17/hr.
