I don't remember how I found out about Hello Cafe. It was in it's beginning days, the cafe is not far from my home. I would go and get a dirty chai, at that time it was one of the dirty chais that best suited my taste in town, I think it still might be now.

I don't remember who initiated the discussion about Herculean Chicken popping up, but I remember the conversation we had at the table besides the window that has now been moved. A few years ago we used to pop up there more frequently, always making the breakfast sandwich that we rarely make elsewhere. Then the last couple years we would pop up once or twice a year.

Outside of vending I also spend quite a bit of time at the cafe, with my laptop and planners, working on various things. I remember the different bakeries the cafe worked with, the many seasonal drinks, the friendly faces on both sides of the bar, and the ones I became friends with. It's really the most ordinary memories that made up such a significant part of my routine.

Moving forward I would definitely miss the cafe, but I'm truly happy for all involved that would be starting a brand new chapter! That is exciting and worth celebrating, and we are very happy for the opportunity to bring our sandwiches to Hello Cafe one last time this Saturday!

Please note this Saturday Herculean Chicken will only be serving the breakfast sandwich and nothing else. The cafe will carry treats from Ate Kei 💖 Ate Kei’s Filipino Treats. If you would like something from our full menu, we will have it at the Heirloom Farmers Market at Rillito Park on Sunday.

TUCSON THIS WEEKEND!

On Saturday 8/15 we will be at Hello Cafe one last time as their last day in business is Sunday 8/16. Hello Cafe has been one of our favorite places since they opened and we are ready to give them a proper send off! More details to come!

Sunday 8/16 we will be back at Heirloom Farmers Markets at Rillito Park, come see us!
