They changed things a little. The Asheville hot chicken and waffles is no longer on the menu, but if you ask for it, they’d be more than happy to make it for you. It’s just not the way that it used to be. The mac & cheese is no longer grilled into the waffle and they are using chicken breast versus chicken thighs. I definitely think I remember the chicken being dipped in sauce. The okra and the fried green tomatoes are just as good as ever can’t get enough of their grits. This is location number four for me. I’m gonna have to say the first one I tried in Omaha Nebraska was the best.
