Bummer news...

The Makan Bowl won't be at the festival this Saturday, 6/27. We have officially been knocked out by a brutal virus (fever, chills, the whole deal) and we are unable to safely or physically handle prep this week.

While we are devastated to miss it, the Lavender Harvest Festival at Firesky Lavender Farms is going to be amazing—so please still head down this Saturday to eat, shop, and support all the other incredible local vendors!

This also leads right into our July & August summer break. We’re officially closing the kitchen for the next two months to rest, recharge, and stay out of the summer heat.

Thank you all for understanding. We're going to miss you this summer, but we’ll be back with Singapore food in the fall!

Tofu Satay with peanut sauce,
Fried bee hoon (fried rice noodles),
Lontong (vegetable curry with rice cubes) and
our popular Achar (pickled vegetables)!
