KW Cages has always been my go-to for rabbit supplies and cages. I thought it would be fun to take you on my recent trip to their Factory in Santee, California!

Kevin Whaley has done an exceptional job inventing, refining, and bettering products we use in the rabbit industry and offering them to all of us through KW Cages. Little foster sisters that I 😍LOVE😍

I’ve talked a lot about fostering in many videos but it really is a lifeline for Dwarfs. With smaller litters, it becomes important to keep does in production…so if you have a couple that have single babies, I suggest putting them together with the strongest mom. This allows you to instantly breed back the other mom and she’s ready since nursing the litter is usually what “takes it out of them” when talking about condition.

As I begin my ultimate wind-down…this was a litter I was weaning that I couldn’t help but share. They are so consistent — in earlier videos I’ve discussed liking smaller litters, this is an example. I’d rather have a killer litter of 3 where each baby shows nice attributes than a litter of 5-6 and you still just get 3 nice ones…the yield is the same but the work to get there less, the feed less, the poop…LESS!

NON EXTENSION COLORS like Tort, Fox, Orange aren’t necessarily colors I’ve ever “specialized in” but I’m happy to share what I do know, after several requests. 😊🧡

Did you want to talk about BUCKS today? Hahaha

I got multiple questions today about bucks and their ‘parts’ so decided it was the perfect time to discuss the buck anatomy and my take on what can go wrong down there. Being cautious with wording in the description so not to get flagged BUT the video uses appropriate terms and should be safe for youth. 👍🏼
