Tomorrow is the day you could add this lovely little lady to your herd! While we are a newer herd to Nigerians don’t let that fool you! The quality in this kid is the best we have to offer. Both her and her littermate sister were shown and her sister got GCH and BIS in her first ring. Black Galaxy Eternal Legacy stood 2nd to her in one ring and 3rd in the other rings. Legacy and her sister were also Best Produce of dam in both rings that offered group classes and were both members of Jr Best Breeders Trio in the ANDDA Specialty Show. Her dam came to us as our second Nigerian doe in the herd. I went to a friends house that had probably 40+ Nigerian does and could pick any doe I wanted to bring home. She was the one. She is one of the longest bodied does in the herd and had the “alpine” look that I’m so fond of. We took her to one show last year and she did well. She hasn’t hit the show circuit this year but is on milk test and on track to earn a star! We are signed up for appraisal so there will be more accolades to add soon! My herd goal is to keep the alpine look but also have the beautiful udders and bodies of wolfivan. So my idea was to Ai her to HJ Summit Farm Golden Legacy to start a Legacy as he is the son of the foundation sire of Wolfivan Algedi Farm Kinetic Riptide and his dam is out if Wolfivans foundation dam SGCH 2*M Joyful Hearts KR Phoebe 91 VEEE. This breeding was planned to create a Foundation doe for my herd. When she blessed me with 2 I knew one needed to be in the sale. Eternal Legacy was my pick as a kid. Her legs are so correct, she’s dairy, she’s angular, she looked like a baby alpine at birth, she was the one! So I knew I needed to put the best in the Sale. I thought she would have been the one to get her leg first! Her day is coming! Don’t miss out on her she’s one to build a Legacy in your herd!

Another amazing supporting animal for our Best Of the west sale! Sire is HJ Summit Farm Golden Legacy! His Dam is none other than SG Wolfivan WP Patchouli who is such a correct doe as well as a great dam producing some of the best sons making a stamp on their offspring! Patchouli has it all the width, the dairy wedge, the mammary, the beautiful front end! I am so glad she is a supporting member of our sale kid!

To my complete surprise Black Galaxy Baton Rouge who is out of a awesome Ai breeding out of Creosote Ranch F Chickadee and HJ summit Farm Golden Legacy who is out of some of the foundation of Wolfivans herd makes her pedigree the exact style of doe I’m working towards, she walked into her very first ring and took 1st place in her class! Then stood in the champion line up against some very beautiful does and managed to achieve Grand champion! And then when she walked in the ring for best in show I thought there’s not a chance of her beating all these very amazing standard breeds! But noticed the judge didn’t take his eyes off her when we looped around one time! And she managed to take the Best Junior Doe In Show!!!!! Seeing does that you bred freshen really nice is such an awesome feeling! I have 4 Black Galaxy yearling milkers. Since we are so new to Nigerians these are the first ones. I love all 4 of them. This is one I really like. Can’t wait to see her as a 2 year old 2nd freshener!
