Lucky 13 is operated by myself as well as my husband, David and our two young children, Oliver and Elsa. We only raise purebred red angus. We chose the breed due to their impressive carcass traits. And our customers will agree that they are delicious. We raise our cattle as humanely as possible, giving them access to pasture 24/7, 365 days a year. We raise all of their winter hay as well. We truly are pasture to plate.

Took the day off from real work yesterday to make dry hay. How we made dry hay is beyond me because it’s been pretty wet lately but we got it in. I was raking ahead of my father in the baler.
We didn’t have much hay down but we got it in. 22 bundles of 21 bales each.
