As we, as a society, have agreed to outsource our food production to faceless organizations operating in the shadows - we have collectively agreed to trust that the food we buy is safe, ethical, and nutritionally sound.
When we started farming in 2016, we got to know quite a bit about what was going on in those shadows and decided we would take every opportunity to show people exactly what we do, how we do it, and how our animals live their daily lives.
In 2017 we hosted our first “Family Farm Day” in an effort to bring our community to the pastures so they could (some, for the first time) connect with their food and meet the farmers.
This Saturday, we continue our 7th year of Family Farm Days. 1-5pm. Bring everyone.
Local food will change the world.
