Come see us at the Sand Springs Farm Critter Swap Meet today! We have frizzles and silkies! Roosters, cockerells, one hen, and one straight run grow out. Left the chicks at home but willing to part with some of those too if interested.

About them blizzard babies...

You see, what had happened was, I brought them in for the cold. But bird 💩 stinks. So now that it's mostly sunny and not blizzard, they needed to go back outside. Betty, who hatched them, said: "you broke it, you bought it! No ma'am!"so I kept putting them under different birds for several nights and Fleur said "Yoink!"

If you didn't know, silkies have wicked strong maternal instincts. They usually love to brood and are good mommies. Sometimes the roosters will even sit on eggs. Many people keep them as living incubators for breeds that aren't as attentive.

👯‍♂️Prince and Dudley joined our flock recently and are getting along splendidly. Dudley's pomp is the envy of every other male. Prince continues to fly under the radar and is not currently interested in any sort of competition. They both are so friendly with people and their new flock mates and are absolutely gorgeous! I can't wait to see what beautiful chicks they are able to help make.

Good brooder and mom, gets along well
We have kept her for her consistency in egg laying and pretty egg-ceptional hardiness but are moving toward fancier genetics and show quality so I'd like for her to find a home where she can continue to shine.

Satin showgirl cockerell *bearded* 🐓

Light paint with red leakage, overall he is a really pretty cream/ light rust color,

This line has given us some really pretty roosters with great personality that take great care of their ladies and will come up asking for treats like a puppy.

About a year old. Plays well with others but is very sassy if allowed to go broody so would personally not like to keep around where we have chicks hatching. Would make a great layer and protector in your backyard silkie flock.

Broodfest 2025 is here! Our ladies have been busy and perhaps a little delulu. We have 19 chicks and counting! Colors include- white, paint, splash, blue. We have standard silkies, showgirls, smooth/satins, and frizzles in the mix. It's going to be hard to pick which ones I'm keeping. Pm for info.
