One question we get asked a lot is…

“Have y’all always eaten this way?”
“Have you always read labels?”

The honest answer — HECK no 😅

It wasn’t until the crazy times of 2020 that we started slowing down and really paying attention to our food system. What began as curiosity quickly turned into passion as our kids grew.

We started reading ingredients.
Looking things up.
Learning as we went.

Some of the ingredients allowed in our food were honestly surprising to learn about. We understand why they’re used — lower cost and longer shelf life — it’s just how the system operates… but at what cost?

Some of it was eye-opening.
Some of it was frustrating.
But mostly, it made us realize our community needed a better option close to home.

People also ask,
“Do you still shop big box grocery stores?”

Of course — they serve a purpose and meet a huge demand. But we believed there was room for something different too.

Not just a shelf of better products…
Not just one aisle of “clean” food…
A place you can walk into and shop without second-guessing what’s in your cart.

So we stepped out in faith and built the kind of store we wished we had — focused on real food, transparency, and knowing where it comes from in a world built on big-box convenience. It was risky, but through God’s blessing and this community’s support, we’ve been able to grow — and you’ve truly put us on the map.

We may be a small fish in a big pond…
but together we’re making tsunami size waves.
