This month, many of our neighbors lost their SNAP benefits — and we’re already feeling it at The Grocery Box.
We see parents trying to stretch meals, elders skipping essentials, and families doing their best to make ends meet.
We’re stepping into the gap — sourcing healthy foods and donations to make sure no one is left out. 💛

Let's work together and support our friends and neighbors at this unprecedented time. Thank you, Tulsa Farmers' Market!

Thank you, Tulsa!! With your help and generous donations, we were able to supply 213 SNAP participants with $40 in market tokens to access fresh LOCAL food!! Originally, we intended to cap it at the first 100 customers, however, we just could not turn anyone away.

We will continue to provide community outreach tokens to SNAP participants as long as SNAP benefits are interrupted and we have the funds available. You can help us continue to bridge the SNAP gap by donating to our supplemental SNAP Fund today. Link to give is in the comments! Thank you in advance for supporting our neighbors 💛

Shoutout to the good humans in our neighborhood! 💚
A few local kids saw us unloading produce today and jumped right in to help — no hesitation, no reward, just pure kindness.
Moments like that remind us why we love this community so much. Thanks for showing up and lending a hand — you make Grocery Box feel like home. 🥕🍎

We are so proud and excited to be part of this amazing neighborhood. We would love for everyone to come see us and shop in our community store!

The Grocery Box opened in north Tulsa in April. In the five months since, it's become a beacon of hope and an oasis in a food desert.

The small-scale, full service store (paired with Tulsa Dream Center) has done more than $95,000 in sales with plans to expand.

A new chapter begins this fall with our store opening on Peoria and 36 St N! Until then (and after), we’re happy to keep serving our wonderful community in our store located next to The Tulsa Dream Center. We can’t wait to see you!
