Huge shoutout to Chief Leland Ramsey of Owens and co. Fire department.

A lot of people know him as a fire chief, a volunteer firefighter, and the guy behind Cardinal Nutrition & Energy in Collinsville and 96st Nutrition & Energy in Owasso, but I know him as the guy who keeps showing up when my family needs help. As we live in the middle of nowhere near Vera, Ok.

My dad is elderly and has been falling a lot lately, and Leland has come to his rescue several times. My dad lives right down the street from us, and any time something happens, this guy is usually the first one there. Doesn’t matter if it’s 3 in the morning, 5 in the morning, 6 in the morning, middle of the night, dead tired, whatever. He shows up. He's not irritated he's there to help when he shows up. One of the best guys out there..

He’s given me his personal number and told me to call if I ever need help with my dad. That kind of person is rare. No spotlight, no big speech, no “look at me” nonsense. Just a good man serving people because that’s who he is.

And that goes for all the volunteer firefighters, firemen, police officers, EMTs, paramedics, dispatchers, and everybody else out there serving the public. A lot of these people are on call at all hours, missing sleep, leaving their families, running toward the stuff everyone else is running away from. Most people don’t see half of what they do, but we sure appreciate it.

Leland has even saved my ass also, so I can personally say this guy is the real deal.

Please go show some support to his businesses, Cardinal Nutrition & Energy and 96st Nutrition & Energy. Grab a tea, shake, whatever you like, and support someone who spends his life supporting everyone else.

Leland, thank you. You are a hero, brother. Our family appreciates you more than you know. 🚒❤️

Heads up to our fellow small businesses: keep an eye on your tip jars.

We had our tip mug swiped by the red-and-white striped “Waldo” bandit.

And businesses, watch your counters, mugs, jars, and anything else not bolted down. 🕵️‍♂️🍺

06/20/2026

93 YEARS.

That still sounds crazy to even type.

Today, June 20th, Weber’s turns 93 years old. Since 1933, this little root beer stand has been sitting right here in Tulsa, slinging burgers, fresh-cut fries, homemade onion rings, and frosty mugs of root beer to generation after generation.

Ninety-three years of first dates.
Ninety-three years of lunch breaks.
Ninety-three years of kids growing up, bringing their kids, then watching those kids bring theirs.
Ninety-three years of Tulsa memories packed into one little building with a grill, a fryer, and a whole lot of heart.

We’re proud, grateful, exhausted, humbled, and honestly still a little shocked that this place is still standing strong after all these years.

Weber’s has survived depressions, wars, recessions, pandemics, road construction, changing times, big chains, food trends, and probably a few million “just one more root beer” requests.

And here we are.

Still family owned.
Still local.
Still doing it the hard way.
Still raising the 6th generation to hopefully carry it on one day.

To every customer who has ever walked through our door, sat at our counter, grabbed a mug of root beer, brought your kids, shared a memory, tagged us in a post, or told somebody, “You gotta try Weber’s”...

Thank you.

You are the reason this place made it to 93.

Come see us today and help us celebrate Weber’s birthday. Grab a burger, some fries, onion rings, and a frosty mug of root beer, and be part of another year of Tulsa history.

93 years down. 100 is right around the corner.

Happy birthday, Weber’s. 🍔🍺🎉
Still ruining diets since 1933.

Collinsville, let’s show up for one of our own.

We saw this post from Heather B’s Sweets and it hit home hard.

Every small business has seasons where the phones slow down, the door doesn’t swing open as much, and you start doing that scary owner math in your head. We know that feeling. A lot of small business owners do. Most just don’t say it out loud.

These ladies did.

So we’re saying this from one small business family to another: we see you, we respect the grind, and we want our community to help keep your ovens hot and your lights on.

We’ve heard nothing but awesome things about Heather B’s Sweets here in Collinsville, and as Collinsville residents ourselves, we plan on trying them out. Birthdays, office parties, anniversaries, retirements, school stuff, church events, family gatherings, “just because I need something sweet before I lose my mind” days… skip the big-box bakery counter and give a local shop a shot.

There is a huge difference between mass-produced and owner-operated. When you buy from a small business, you’re not just buying cake, cookies, burgers, root beer, shirts, signs, flowers, repairs, coffee, whatever it may be. You’re helping real people keep chasing it. You’re helping families. You’re helping employees. You’re helping a dream survive another week.

And shares matter too. Seriously. A share costs nothing, but to a small business it can be the difference between a slow day and a saved day.

So please go show Heather B’s Sweets some love. Like their page, share their post, order something, tell a friend, tag somebody with a birthday coming up.

And if you own a small business around Collinsville, or know one that could use some love right now, drop them in the comments. We’d love to support as many as we can.

Small businesses don’t need pity.
They need people to remember they exist before they’re gone.

Let’s take care of our neighbors. ❤️

I’m gonna say the thing most small business owners are too scared to say out loud.

It’s slow right now. Like, watch-the-door-and-do-the-math slow.

Summer hits a little bakery different. Everybody’s being good, on vacation, firing up the grill instead of cutting a cake. I get it. I really do.

But here’s what I keep coming back to. Somebody in Collinsville has a birthday this week. Somebody’s got an office thing, a retirement, an anniversary, a “we made it another year” that deserves more than a grocery store sheet cake. And every single one of those still needs cake.

I’m not a franchise. There’s no corporate office sliding me a check when the room goes quiet. It’s just me and the these young ladies standing right beside me, hoping that door swings open so we can do what we love, which is spoiling this town rotten.

So here’s my ask, and it’s a small one. Share this post. Send it to the friend who’s got a birthday coming, the coworker planning the office party, the neighbor who always says we should support local. A share costs you nothing and it might be the thing that keeps our lights on.

🎉 93 YEARS OF WEBER’S 🎉

On June 20th, Weber’s turns 93 years old.

We opened June 20th, 1933, and somehow this little spot on Peoria is still here, still slinging burgers, still pouring root beer, still making memories, and still trying to keep up with Tulsa’s appetite.

So here it is:

93 reasons to come see us at Weber’s.

1. Because we’ve been here since 1933, back when “going viral” meant somebody sneezed downtown.
2. Because 93 years deserves a frosty mug salute.
3. Because Tulsa history tastes better with fries.
4. Because we’re still family-owned.
5. Because we’re still local.
6. Because we’re not a chain.
7. Because Brookside wouldn’t feel the same without us.
8. Because generations have grown up on Weber’s.
9. Because your grandparents probably know this place.
10. Because your parents probably do too.
11. Because we actually make our root beer. We don’t buy shortcut syrup, stir it with a broom handle, slap a “homemade” sticker on it, and hope nobody asks questions.
12. Because our root beer has a story.
13. Because our root beer comes from a secret recipe, not a mystery jug in the back of a delivery truck.
14. Because 14 natural ingredients sounds like root beer wizardry, and honestly, it kind of is.
15. Because a frosted mug just hits different.
16. Because root beer floats are happiness with a straw and a tiny brain freeze warning.
17. Because a Weber’s freeze can fix a rough day, a boring lunch, and maybe your attitude.
18. Because cans and bottles let you take Weber’s home like a responsible root beer hoarder.
19. Because Tulsa loves a place with soul.
20. Because we still believe simple food can be legendary.
21. Because old-school burgers never went out of style.
22. Because fresh ground beef matters.
23. Because a griddle burger has its own little sizzle opera.
24. Because cheese belongs on burgers.
25. Because double cheeseburgers exist for people who make correct decisions.
26. Because chili cheeseburgers are beautifully unhinged.
27. Because sausage cheeseburgers are not for quitters.
28. Because a 1/2-pound burger is a commitment worth making.
29. Because fresh-cut fries are always better.
30. Because fresh kicks frozen’s butt every single time.
31. Because napkins fear us.
32. Because fresh-cut fries are worth the wait.
33. Because hot fries in a bag smell like victory.
34. Because onion rings deserve their own fan club.
35. Because homemade onion rings beat boring every time.
36. Because tots are tiny potato trophies.
37. Because coneys are always a good idea.
38. Because cheese coneys are proof that “extra” can be a compliment.
39. Because chili belongs on more things than people admit in public.
40. Because corn dogs still make grown adults happy.
41. Because fish sandwiches need love too.
42. Because chicken sandwiches are waiting patiently like, “Hey, don’t forget about me.”
43. Because popcorn chicken exists for snacky little moments.
44. Because outdoor tables make root beer taste better.
45. Because eating outside on Peoria feels like Tulsa.
46. Because nostalgia is free with purchase.
47. Because people come back after moving away.
48. Because people bring their kids.
49. Because people bring their grandkids.
50. Because people bring stories with them.
51. Because somebody always says, “I haven’t been here in years.”
52. Because somebody else always says, “This was my dad’s favorite place.”
53. Because Weber’s memories stack up higher than a double burger.
54. Because small businesses need people who still care.
55. Because we care.
56. Because we’re not perfect, but we give a dang.
57. Because if something isn’t right, we’ll try to make it right.
58. Because every order matters.
59. Because every customer matters.
60. Because every busy rush is controlled chaos with a spatula.
61. Because the grill has seen more action than most action movies.
62. Because the smell alone should count as advertising.
63. Because the root beer has fans who don’t even like root beer.
64. Because reviews keep mentioning the floats.
65. Because reviews keep mentioning the fries.
66. Because reviews keep mentioning the old-school burgers.
67. Because reviews keep mentioning the nostalgia.
68. Because reviews keep mentioning friendly service.
69. Because people call us a Tulsa classic.
70. Because people call us a landmark.
71. Because people say the root beer is worth the trip.
72. Because “worth the wait” is basically our unofficial weather report.
73. Because lunch at Weber’s feels like stepping into a Tulsa time machine that smells like burgers.
74. Because 3817 S. Peoria has fed a whole lot of people.
75. Because Brookside has changed, but Weber’s is still Weber’s.
76. Because a burger and root beer is a proper Oklahoma pairing.
77. Because this is the kind of place you tell visitors about.
78. Because this is the kind of place visitors remember.
79. Because local food beats drive-thru sameness.
80. Because the big chains have enough money already.
81. Because Tulsa originals need Tulsa support.
82. Because we’ve survived recessions, trends, traffic, heat, cold, picky eaters, and whatever else the universe has thrown at the grill.
83. Because 93 years does not happen by accident.
84. Because this place was built by family.
85. Because this place is kept alive by customers.
86. Because every burger sold helps keep the story going.
87. Because every mug poured keeps the recipe alive.
88. Because every visit helps carry Weber’s into the next generation.
89. Because one day your kids may say, “My parents used to take me there.”
90. Because Tulsa needs places with history you can actually taste.
91. Because June 20th only comes once a year.
92. Because 93 looks pretty good on us.
93. Because after 93 years, we’re still here, still grateful, still flipping burgers, still pouring root beer, and currently raising the 6th generation to take over one day And with our 100-year anniversary only about seven years away, we’re more thankful than ever for every single person who helps keep this Tulsa tradition alive.

Come celebrate with us at Weber’s.

Our new Weber’s merch store is officially live! 🍔🍺

Weber’s opened in Tulsa in 1933, but our family’s hamburger history goes all the way back to 1891, when the hamburger was invented by our family.

Now we’re on the 5th generation, raising the 6th generation inside Weber’s and around Weber’s, learning the trade, hearing the stories, and growing up in the same little place that so many Tulsa families have loved for years.

We’re starting the merch store simple for now with white T-shirts and a beer stein, including the Weber’s sign shirt and the “Worth the Wait” shirt. More designs and items will be added as we go.

If you want to support a local family, a real Tulsa landmark, and a piece of hamburger history, grab some Weber’s merch here:

https://webers-superior-root-beer.printify.me/

Thank you for supporting our family, our kids, and Weber’s Superior Root Beer. Still here, still cooking, still pouring root beer, and still trying to keep this little Tulsa legend alive. ❤️

The Oklahoma heat has officially lost its mind. ☀️🥵
So we did what any responsible burger joint would do…
We added ice cream bars and popsicles so your kids don’t melt into the floor while you’re trying to enjoy a burger in peace. 🍔🍟
Now when they hit you with:
“Can I have something cold?” “I’m hot.” “I’m still hungry.” “Can we get a treat?” “Why is the sun yelling at me?”
You can point at the freezer and say, “Fine. Pick one.” 😆
We’ve got popsicles, ice cream sandwiches, character bars, and those red-white-and-blue Bomb Pop beauties that somehow taste like childhood, summer, and sticky fingers all at once.
So come grab burgers, fries, frosty root beer, and toss a frozen treat on the order like the legendary parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, or snack-a-holic you are.
Now serving ice cream bars & popsicles at Weber’s.
Because sometimes bribery is just parenting with better marketing. 🍦😎
