We’ve been dropping off Cosmic Turtle Farm microgreens to Jean Pierre 316 for over six years now, and we keep coming back because of the incredible food, amazing rewards, and the family atmosphere. Every delivery is met with a smile, and the crew here has always treated us like family.

A beautiful mess of local magic. ❤️✨

One of the greatest things about living here is spending a weekend gathering some of the most wonderful food our community has to offer.

Congratulations to Brad Peter at Bread Peddler, who clearly has **bread-making superpowers**. I spotted two of his magical baguettes as I rolled into Spuds to drop off our greens. The woman ahead of me grabbed both, and I jokingly asked, “Are you really taking both of those?” 😂 Thankfully, she only needed one, and we ended up sharing a great little moment over our mutual love of truly amazing bread.

We had already thawed a beautiful steak from Colvin Ranch, and you could taste the care, respect, and awesome love that went into raising it. Layered onto that incredible baguette with our Cosmic Turtle Farm pea and daikon radish microgreens, it became more than dinner—it was a celebration of our community.

You really can taste the energy people put into good food: the love, the hard work, the craft, and the intention. We’re beside ourselves with gratitude for all these magical people growing, baking, raising, creating, and sharing their gifts. We feel so lucky to be part of it all. 🌱🥖🥩✨

One of the greatest gifts of living close to the land is waking up to breakfast growing just outside the door. 🌿🫐

Fresh blackberries picked moments before they hit the bowl, layered with yogurt and granola—a simple reminder that God’s creation is generous when we take the time to notice it.

At Cosmic Turtle Farm, we’re always thinking about the health of the soil, the plants, the animals, and ourselves. Living biodynamically isn’t about perfection—it’s about partnering with nature and being grateful for the abundance it provides.

Blackberries for breakfast... and if we’re lucky, blackberry wonder for dessert too. Life tastes pretty amazing when you eat from the land.

🌱 Growing Joy 🌱

Five years ago, we planted our first trays of microgreens with a simple hope—to grow something fresh, healthy, and meaningful. Today, we truly believe we’ve found ourselves in a little pocket of Growing Joy.

We were blessed to see our microgreens featured on this incredible burger from Jean-Pierre’s 316 Food Truck, crafted by Chef Calvin. It’s an honor to partner with people who care so deeply about quality, local ingredients, and creating amazing food.

Thank you to the entire Jean-Pierre’s 316 team for supporting local farms and allowing Cosmic Turtle Farm to be a small part of what you serve. Seeing our greens on your menu reminds us why we do what we do.

A little bittersweet seeing our sunflower microgreens land on a beautiful pork chop like this. 🌻

We’ve watched the restaurant industry change so much over the years, and honestly, we’re still figuring out where we fit in this new chapter. There was something truly magical about those packed nights, the passion projects, the weird little moments, the friendships, the energy… and we miss it deeply.

But maybe the magic doesn’t disappear just because a chapter closes.

Right now, we’re grateful to still find our greens on tacos, salads, friends’ dinner tables, and our own dinners at home. We’re hopeful there’s still a place for small farms, passionate cooks, and community-driven restaurants in whatever comes next.

To all the restaurant folks still grinding, creating, surviving, and dreaming — we love you and want to see our restaurant community thrive. ❤️
