This is just your reminder that love to hear feedback. Thank you Ms. Shipp for the love you showed us from this year’s first batch of honey. Did you miss out? Probably so because most bottles were already spoken for. Make sure to follow us & watch for a post on the next batch.

Yesterday I was mixing up some natural chicken vitamins & dewormer and actually thought to stop and snap a pic for you guys. In the pics you can see what I use and what their purposes are. This is information I have gathered. Please feel free to do your own research. I do suggest you use a mask and eye protection when combining the items to your chicken’s food because some items tend to get a little air born and will aggravate your eyes & throat.

“How’s the greenhouse coming?” is a popular question and rightfully so because it has been a project that has taken a loooooooong time to make happen. I am proud to say that we are up and we are growing. Right now, we are just testing a few products. Among the test subjects are strawberries, potatoes, pole beans, tomatoes, and several types of lettuce. If we need any taste testers we will let you know!

Yall, I’m pretty damn proud of us here at FFE. For the last couple of years we have worked hard on building the required infrastructure and planting times to bring you all local, responsibly grown flowers almost year round!
Last year we were devastated by droughts that cut way into our financial stability since it practically destroyed most of our crops, but I was determined to push forward with my dream anyway.
🤩I am so excited to announce that we are officially in full blown bloom season and working like crazy on getting the rest of the year’s flowers planted at the same time.
✨This week the tulips are stealing the show and pairing beautifully with the anemones, ranunculus, carnations, and roses!!
👉🏻This is most exciting because the Netherlands also suffered horrible weather damages last year and tulips will be harder to find and so much more expensive than years past.

💝This Valentine’s Day, support a true local business and farm. Orders will be cut off tomorrow afternoon so share, like, and comment! We can take orders by comment, messenger, email, online, or by phone.

The bees have found the feed we give to the cows every day. I have to “suit up” to shovel the cow feed into totes to take out their pasture. It’s an extra step but I don’t mind hanging with my bees. We even have some barn cats that don’t mind hanging out with them.

Just another day feeding cattle…today was going fine…the herd & I were listening to a little . I fed them their cottonseed & went and grabbed a bale of hay. I pulled into the field and got the bale into position. I thought I had plenty of time because they were all eating their cottonseed. I put the truck in park and *p**f* they were there and ready to eat on the new hay. I had precut the baling twine that was around the hay before I came into the field but had not removed it. I worked on removing the twine while mainly paying attention to my safety. That’s when I notice 2 cows had some of the precut twine hanging from their mouths. I quickly removed the piece from the first cow’s mouth. But the second one had been working on her 5-6 feet of twine for a few minutes. In dramatic fashion I grabbed the last foot of twine hanging from her mouth and started gently removing. It’s hard to tell in the pic but I pulled out a little more than twine. She looked at me as if I had stolen her lunch. Sigh.
