We enjoy renting our pavilion at Mountain Sprigs Farm for graduation parties, showers, garden club luncheons, and all sorts of gatherings. But my favorite is when I can host a private gathering like today’s retired teachers’ get-together.

It was so nice to see so many of you on the first day of school! Thank you for coming, sitting, visiting, and catching up on our busy retirement days.

If you missed coming this year, be sure to put us on your calendar for the first day of school next year. Until then, ❤️

Our lavender bloom was finished about a month ago, but the work at the farm does not stop.

If you bought a lavender plant from me, planted it as suggested, it should be thriving by now. Now is the time to trim and shape it for multiple blooms next year.

Here’s what we did for our Munstead which was planted in May.

My son and I have the best friends and neighbors on Stark Road and it’s always a pleasure to see them take time from their busy summer schedule and spend an evening together for our annual get together. Thank you for coming and taking over a lot of the muscle work that I’m unable to do anymore. I love all of you, you are the best! ❤️

It’s still not too late to plant lavender plants this year for a beautiful bloom next year. Several of my customers, who planted correctly, showed me pictures of rows of lavender they bought from me by their house, sidewalks, or curbs. They were absolutely stunning!
