Thank you all who came out today and purchased some beautiful fabric and other sewing notions. A special thank you to the sweet girl who bought ALL the scrap pieces, and more, to sew up some fancy costumes for her dog. I loved that idea! ❤️

When I’m not talking about or selling lavender, I’m usually sewing sachets bags or quilts. I’m part of a weekly quilting group, and recently we lost our dear friend Cheryl Sands. If you were lucky enough to own something Cheryl created, you know she had a wonderful eye for beautiful, colorful fabrics.

All of Cheryl’s fabric, patterns, kits, and notions will be for sale during the Fall Festival on October 3rd. in Tunkhannock.

There are some beautiful pieces at greatly reduced prices, and this is well worth the trip if you do any kind of sewing or crafting!

What a great group of people we met at Farm to Family in Dalton today! A special thank you to Sandy and your helpers who made it a huge success.

And guess who Wendy, Don, and I met there today? I hope to see you at Mountain Sprigs Farm during our lavender bloom time next July, Jeremy! Oh, and bring us a mild winter this year! 🌤️

If you missed Nicholson Bridge Day yesterday, mark your calendar for next year — usually the Sunday after Labor Day!

Main Street was filled with vendors, visitors, and lots of small-town hospitality, all beneath the watchful eye of the famous Nicholson Bridge. People came from near and far to shop for everything from kitchen gadgets to, yes… my lavender! 💜

What a great community! Kudos to the Nicholson Women’s Club and everyone who helped make another Bridge Day such a beautiful success! 👏🏼

Growing up on a farm, we processed most of our own food that included canning fruits and vegetables. One of our favorite treats was elderberry jelly. Thanks to my generous nephew Danny, I have several quarts of pure elderberry juice and, now, elderberry jelly! Yum!
