We wanna apologize for Saturday AND today — the extreme heat, the kids’ football game, AND now this Tahoe situation been tag‑teaming us all weekend 😩🔥

Saturday had us out there melting like we were part of the halftime show.
And today?
Baby… the heat came back AND the Tahoe started acting funny.

Starter went out…
Then it decided it wanna start again…
Now we scared to turn it off for real 😭🔥
We tiptoeing around it like, “Don’t you do nothing crazy…”
We about to carry it straight to the shop before it changes its mind 😆🔥

So Pokey’s will NOT be running today.
We hate it, we miss y’all, and we appreciate y’all for understanding while we deal with this heat and this dramatic Tahoe.

“Aye… slide that Pokey’s food in here during LUNCH. Quit playin’.”
So guess what?

Starting TOMORROW, you can get POKEY’S TO GO right INSIDE the Marathon Gas Station on Lawndale & Cliff Gookin Blvd 😭🔥
YES, INSIDE.
Not outside.
Not beside the pump.
Not in the parking lot fighting the sun like we in a cookout Olympics.
We done moved IN like we paying rent, got a key, know the WiFi password, and might start rearranging furniture 😆🔥

They welcomed us in like cousins at the cookout, helped us get set up, and said,

Mrs. Pokey wasn’t there today.
I KNOW.
I KNOW.
I left the boys unsupervised like somebody mama who ran to Walmart “real quick.”
So now I need y’all to tell me HOW THE BOYS DID.

Be honest.
Be raw.
Be Tupelo.
I KNOW somebody’s fish plate was cold — I felt it deep in my soul 😩🔥
But frfr… how did they do without me?

Because listen…
I was WORRIED.
I was pacing.
I was praying.
I was sweating and I wasn’t even on the grill.
But when I pulled up at the end?
Chile… they were STILL STANDING — but EXHAUSTED 😭😆

First off — THANK YOU to everybody who pulled up and supported us today.
Chile… y’all WHOOPED OUR TAILS TODAY AND YESTERDAY 😭😆
I mean Tupelo 1, Pokey’s 0 BOTH DAYS.
Y’all had us out there looking like we didn’t study for the test AND forgot our homework.

And let’s be real…
We ALWAYS telling y’all to “be ready”…
But yesterday?
We started late.
Today?
We thought we were ready.
We swore we were ready.
We had confidence, pep in our step, all that.
But Tupelo said, “Nah, let me show y’all something real quick.”
Y’all proved WE WASN’T READY AT ALL 😭🔥

Keep applying pressure — we love it, even though it had us out there fighting for our lives.

And listen… this was our FIRST Sunday.
We just knew it was gon’ be slow…
