Venues, please invest in refrigeration if you want to be a wedding venue. 🙏🏼
I cannot stress enough how much these couples invest into their wedding desserts and cakes, only for us bakers to arrive and immediately stress about keeping everything safe, stable, and beautiful until serving time.
A wedding cake and dessert bar treats aren’t just “dessert.” It’s hours and hours of work, artistry, structure, transport, setup, and a huge financial investment from the couple. Heat and improper storage can ruin all of that so quickly.
It honestly is not a massive investment to have:
• a clean, EMPTY commercial refrigerator
• or even a couple large home refrigerators dedicated and available for vendors on wedding days
Especially during warmer months.
Not only does it protect the desserts, it protects the experience your couples are paying for and helps your vendors do their jobs with excellence and a little less panic. 😂
