Hood Farm LLC Agricultural Services We are a family farm that has been maintained by 3 generations of the Hood Family. We are a family run farm that focuses on cropping for local dairy farms.

We maintain the fields, grow the corn and grass, harvest, and store the feed. We also bale hay to sell to customers for their own livestock.

Looking for suggestions for a company in the Moosehead area that would be willing to haul a load of gravel into Northeast Carry. Nothing fancy can be bank run. Only looking for one load (10-14yards) for right now but would like 2 or 3 more in the near future or at the same time if it was worth it for somebody. Looking to add another member to our farm team. The ideal candidate is hardworking, willing to work some weekends and evening hours during harvest times and is a team player. This job can be labor intensive at times so must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Drivers license required and must be able to pass a DOT drug screen/physical. Mechanically inclined is a plus, but not necessary. Class A or B license again a plus, but not required. This is a full time position. Competitive pay, overtime pay, paid vacation and sick time. These bales are roughly 1200-1400lbs, 50%-60% dry matter and $65/bale. This grass comes off beautifully maintained and fertilized fields. Thanks to everyone that’s been buying culverts and drainage tile from me lately. It’s been a busy summer for sure we have sent out lots of pipe and deliveries also. Thank you K.R. Youland for another double flat deck culvert order. The old L8000 loves it! We are also getting triple wall aka schedule 20 sewer pipe for $1.50/foot coming soon.
