04/05/2026

He is risen, the tomb is empty, death has been defeated, and everything has changed because what looked like the end was actually the beginning of everything.

The stone rolled away, the grave clothes folded, the body gone, and angels declaring what seemed impossible, He is not here, He is risen, just as He said.

Teach me to live as someone who believes in resurrection, to carry myself differently because the grave couldn't hold You, to face everything with confidence because You conquered death itself.

Death doesn't win, the enemy is defeated, hope is alive, fear is finished, and the worst thing that can happen is never the last thing.

Help me celebrate this truth not just on Easter but every day, to let resurrection power transform ordinary moments, to remember that the same power that raised Jesus lives in me.

Remind me that because You rose, I will rise, that Your resurrection guarantees mine, that death has lost its sting and the grave has lost its victory.

Give me joy that overflows from this reality, worship that matches the magnitude of resurrection, faith that's anchored to an empty tomb and a risen Savior.

Let me declare with all creation today, He is risen, He is risen indeed, and because He lives, everything is different, everything is possible, everything is new.

In Jesus' name,

Amen.

Today is Saturday…
and heaven is silent

Not peaceful silence
but the kind that aches
the kind that makes you wonder
if anything will ever feel alive again

Because yesterday
hope was buried

The stone was rolled
the tomb was sealed

And all the promises
felt like they were buried with Him

This is the day in between

Between what was
and what will be

Between heartbreak
and redemption

And no one knew yet

No one felt victory coming

All they felt
was loss

Confusion
Fear
Silence

The kind of silence
where prayers feel like they hit the ceiling

The kind of waiting
that makes you question everything

Did we misunderstand?
Did we hope too much?
Was it all… for nothing?

This is the day
where faith doesn’t feel strong

It feels like holding on
with trembling hands

This is the day
where God feels quiet

But quiet
does not mean absent

Because even in the silence

Even in the dark

Even in the sealed tomb

God was still working

Even when no one could see it
Even when no one could feel it

Something was shifting

Because Saturday
is not the end

It’s the space
where miracles are preparing to breathe

So if today feels quiet
if it feels heavy
if it feels like nothing is happening

You are not alone

This day has existed before

The day where everything feels over

right before
everything changes

Today is Saturday

And even when it feels like nothing

God is still moving

Even here

Even now

Aloha to our Holoholo Ohana 🌺

Aunty and Uncle have missed serving you all 🥰

We just returned from visiting our ohana in Meridian, Idaho - We had a beautiful time together and are happy to say will be moving there as soon as we sell our home in Aumsville.

These last few weeks have been a world wind of emotions for us as the decision to close Holoholo happened so quickly.

We had hoped we could return to Hawaii to be with Uncle George’s parents, but as everyone knows, Hawaii is so expensive!

Like many Hawaiians we left Hawaii 11 years ago because the cost to live there is more than we (and most locals who live there) can afford. 😢

We have worked hard all our lives and as we are getting older we want to have time to enjoy ourselves while we still have our health and each other.🥰🥰

Holoholo was a labor of Aloha - ALOT of work (especially for Uncle George) because he did EVERYTHING 😩
It also gave us the gift of all of you - you’ve been (and will always be) the ohana we needed to make Oregon feel like home.🏡

So our Holoholo journey continues on the mainland….

The last few weeks we have been super busy sorting through our treasures and deciding what we need to keep and what we need to sell!

We are downsizing so WE GOT ALOT OF STUFF!🧥👕👖🥿👞👟🩴🧢💼👜🌂🎄🪴💐🪻🥄🍴🍽️🥣🎼💿🧹🪣🪑🛏️🛋️🛍️🗄️🖇️📚✂️✏️
Can’t post all the pictures - and there’s too much to list!

If you are interested in coming by text Aunty at 808-551-1778 so I can give you our address.

We would love to give our Holoholo Ohana first pick before we invite the public to our future estate sale- we would rather GIVE you a deal because we appreciate eachother instead of bargaining with someone we don’t know!

If you can’t come this weekend you can come “by appointment” on another day - just text me!
