Hey all! We had to make a tough call this week. When the temperatures are THIS hot (it's going to be another scortcher on Wednesday!), Please remember that, while the market operates from 5-8pm, as vendors, we're there much earlier and after that time to set up and tear down.
So we will be setting up this week with most attending vendors being on a pre-order and pickup ONLY basis! You'll beed to directly contact your favorite vendors to place an order for easy pickup this Wednesday. EACH vendor handles their own business, so order times, and everything else will be left up to our vendors.

Important message for my Wednesday Robsion Park Farmers Market customers:

The high temperature in Louisville is supposed to be around 100 degrees on Wednesday afternoon, so we’re scaling back a little this week.

Instead of setting up the canopy, tables, banners, etc., I’ll just have a cooler in the back of the truck for pre-order pickup only. I will only be bringing eggs that are pre-ordered, so please get your order in before noon on Wednesday. You can pay in person at the park with cash, card, Venmo, or Cash App.

Pickups will be between 5 and 6, but I can stay a little later if you can’t get there by 6.

I’m not sure if I’ll have anymore watermelons ready by Wednesday, but let me know if you want one and I’ll bring it if I have it.

The market is open until 2:00, so come by and shop with the other vendors here. As for me…Since I have nothing else to sell, I’m gonna visit the food truck and enjoy a cheeseburger.

Let’s talk about blue and green eggs. I’ve had some customers ask me for a whole dozen of them. But a couple of weeks ago, a guy bought a dozen eggs from me at a farmers market, opened the carton, then handed it back to me and asked “can I get one that doesn’t have any blue eggs?” What are your thoughts on them?

When you have chickens and you grow a garden, the chickens eat good during the summer! I just checked the watermelon patch and found one that was perfectly ripe, but it had split open on one side, so the chickens are getting a treat this afternoon.

I’ll have plenty of lab-free REAL eggs tonight (Wednesday) from 5 - 8 at the Robsion Park Farmers Market in Lyndon.

Another batch of baby chicks are hatching today. These are ISA Browns, which are sexlink chicks. The females are brown and the males are yellow or white. So far, I have 3 brown ones and 3 yellow ones. I was hoping for all brown.

The gang’s all here! Come and see us today at the courthouse for the Henry County Farmers Market. We have meat, produce, sweet treats, coffee, and I have lots of eggs available today.

The weather has been CRAZY this week! The thunderstorms on Wednesday caused the cancellation of the market in Lyndon.

That means I have LOTS of eggs available for the Henry County Farmers Market tomorrow (Saturday) and The Train Depot on Sunday! I’ll also have tomatoes and maybe some other produce available on Sunday.

By the way, this video was taken yesterday afternoon when a massive downpour created a temporary raging river in my yard!
